Received unsolicited phone-calls.

This is a craigslist scammer trying to send a cashier's/certified search for a purchase. They might add money to the check and state pay me for your extra to get that quantity of money from you or they might simply take your provided piece. The check will bounce after having a couple weeks and your lender will hold you in charge of this amount. Prevent this person at-all-costs.

We received a desk phone local call from the person name Sherry declaring which our firm owes for a television/phone book address ad. She claims that she has a recording of someone from our company permitting this ad but refused to perform the ad for me or to reveal the name of her company. She claims she's a single mom taking care of commission and threatened to run our company name throughout the tv screen and that it'd destroy our reputation if we do not pay her bill (which bill we've never gotten in paper form, nor did we approve these 'ad'.) Her range pops up like a land line in Covington, KY, Kenton County. Someone should investigate this apparent scam.
