Last night I got a number on my landline, but since I did not realize they & the I did not remedy hung up when my answering-machine came on.

Been getting a local call from 971 - 373 - 2947 daily multiple times every day. Phone call shows up as ACESERVICE LOCAL CALL. I have tried to number back the quantity which result in no ring tones. They keep no words on the answering machine which went as much as 5 -10x each day.

probably looking to get some information...when they understand that I have caller-id. they hangup. Until I know the individual at the other end I never pick up the telephone...that is why I've caller ID.

I've had these folks buzz, too. Their number was blocked by me. I have had the situation in the past however. This is one way I solved it. I visited my Police Office (I actually brought my telephone showing them all the times they named) and got a case number. If they have exactly the same hand-set carrier, they'll handle or if another and, after you get the event number local call our handset carrier traces the call, they will contact their telephone carrier.
