They try to make you feel you are likely to arrest and adjust mobile numbers. No one warns you that you're being served with papers they'll just arrive at your door. It is a FRAUD. Do not actually answer the telephone.

An investigator would identify where they are calling from and if it were a true investigator regarding check scam they wouldnt be calling you they'd be offering you forms. Received a phone-calls from 773-770-4981 check fraud section, revealing some kind of check fraud. she recognized herself as ms. johnson. She did not request any particular person and it seemed such as a recording. If it included sham any ligitament corporation would not have a recorded message.
