Nowadays (2/4/2012) I was helping one of my students, an aged woman who depends on Social Security for revenue, with her math. The decision was dropped, and after I called back a halfhour later she was crying. Obviously a man named Michael Mills had called her out of this variety and told her that she would be caught if she did not pay him 500 bucks. It seemed just like a fraud so i located these articles and looked up the name and amount. I reported him for the Houston Police. They called my fianceis mobile seeking me &had all my personal information. They told my fiance that he was harboring a criminal, that a bank was robbed by me, I was planning to arrest & therefore was he for defending me. Then when my fiance said "what crack pipe have you been smoking, my gal is far from a legal" the dude got vulgar & biligerent, then hung-up. I called him from my handset number (blocked ofcourse) & asked for the name of his firm & his full name & - SHOCK - he refused to offer me any information saying that his information wasnt essential. He claims he's an attorney, first name is Paul. I asked him how he had my private information - he said not to bother about it. I attempted to ask him questions but he kept talking over me. When I advised him to avoid speaking over me, he got mad, began yelling then hung-up. Once I phone-calls the amount back it visits a voice mail without any identifying information - SCAM!!

Our experience is similar: Monday 1/23/12, Southern-accented man identifying himself as Michael Mills called my house number right before 8:20 AM. Mispronounced my name saying that it and my social security number (he'd the past 4 numbers) were getting used in illegal action & I was the one who'd face consequences if I overlooked buzz. I called from my office number to view what the scam was, got the Miraculous Port redirect message and eventually called right into a voicemail box telling me to leave a message and have a "lucky day." I pronounceed my name the exact same way he had and asked to find out more ending with, "you've my number in __" (the state I are now living in). After reading these posts I wish I had not accomplished that much.

They called to say that I won 2.5 million dollars, but that I had to cover the customs for this to be brought to Europe

Do not concern yourself with it. He is a scammer.

They're a fraud. They've a MagicJack phone number therefore, think about everybody reviews to Secret Jack and turns them down for a couple moments. That is to be fun.

MANY CALLS HANG-UPS NO CHAT

This is a SCAM and a SHAM. I am a police force officer in Al, and a couple of weeks ago taken care of immediately a phone call where this same individual was utilizing the same story to scam money. After hundreds of handset calls demanding payment on a "delinquent loan", a western union payment was needed by him immediately or encounter legal difficulties. I identified myself, and answered the device for the lady and asked for the name and address of the business. He declined to provide the data. I asked for the name of a boss, and he rejected and turned offensive and profane. The 2009 Friday he called my cell number. DON'T send money to the individual, until you realize that a company money is owed by you and can confirm a debt. I have described them to the Alabama Attorney-General's Office, Consumer Fraud Division. If you're in Texas, please do the same as the State of Texas is all about the only legislation that will take care of this person or "organization."

Therefore I've been getting calls at the job non stop from these men basically saying what everyone else is saying I'm gonna get caught I'm going to trial. Basically I told them, sarcasticly thanks for informing me about the scenario and I'll see them in court or take my chances getting caught. Needless to say they got all upset and angry and wanted to consult with my employer. What can I actually do to cause them to quit
