I never answer my land line, don't know why I have it...but I know CRA does not call you first without notifying you of tax issues. Further they avoid emailing, when they do contact you by phone they give you their name....as for foreign sounding voices, have you looked at our society and government employees, diversity....If your not sure get them to give you their number and EXTENSION so you can call them back, there is a toll free number, you then go through the hoops of press one for English etc...then if you know the extension please insert it now, then the reminder that this call is being monitored....and the automated voice is always the same without accent...the caller is J Knight...sounds like the character from an old sitcom, the number was 613-699-2403...and CRA doesn't have my number as I just got it and use an alternate number when dealing with them...though they can be ignorant they will provide the name and number of their supervisor....what I don't understand is why this individual has not been arrested and charged....its easy enough for the police to obtain the name, number and even location of a phone regardless of whether its a land line or a cell...computers are a great thing, so are court orders, to obtain warrants...

Incredible these folks work with imunity wheee may be the Canadian or NSA Authorities catching scammers that are theae. They are not they do not examine thats why this persists and are useless.
