This guy is operating very true to type. He called my church today, stated his name was Jerry Wolf and that he desired only a little over $250 for bus passes for his wife and child to get property from Altamonte Springs, FL to Derby, KS. A fictitious address was given by him, was not a water business consumer in Derby, but usually his story was exactly the same. He had his mother's ashes in a urn, his 95 Olds put arod and cracked the stop and was trash, and needed money sent to him thru Walmart within the next 3 hours to get home. I didn't even bother to buzz him back after I observed the prior reports. The Derby police said that he probably runs on the disposable cell hand-set to make these calls and there clearly was definitely no way to actually get his hand-set shutoff!

I got a local call from someone claiming to be Jerry Thomas from Minnesota with the same telephone number and with the same sob story. After searching Google, I discovered that it is fraud.

Lately received a local call from. I needed about $250 for coach fare and noticed the same tale about a mother murdered with a drunk driver. The caller claimed his name was Jerry Thomas. He asked if I could insert money within three hours or else he and his family might miss out the shuttle.

Called declaring mama died destructive and required $300 for coach fare. Desired it sent immediately simply because they may miss the shuttle. Didn't understand how to pronounce the name with this area, and said to own met me a few weeks previously. For towing expenses mentioned the vehicle was scrapped out and did not have a means home. I questioned him concerning this data and he hung up the telephone.
