What is really depressing is that these scams proceed because people keep falling for them. If they phone-calls 500,000 people and they obtain a strike on only 5 people, that's enough in order for them to continue. What we need to do is obtain the ignorant idiots who continue to drop for these exact things to wise up and stop falling for this crap.

I enjoyable speech (recoding) was on when I responded. The call was to inform me how crucial it was to phone-calls to reduce my rate of interest. (I'm in area code 260) The card companies I use do not behave that way. To start with this buzz did not determine which business was calling, only "card services"...Obviously a con. I just hung-up. I am about the do not buzz list and this was not anybody I do business with in order that they ought to be receiving fined...but the government appears to want to hide such scams likely because it is an excessive amount of work to trace.
