I work-in an office. I obtained a contact from Jason Todd recently from a personal number. He did actually understand a significant amount of about our copy machine i.e. Make, Model etc. He began going on about how exactly his supplier was going to enhance the value of our copier toner to over 500 but we'd obtain it in a discount value of 475 because their workplace had made a clerical mistake Anyway, I named our copy machine company and so they advised me this individual was a scammer. I received a follow-up phone call today from Scott from the above- amount yesterday only following up concerning the call from Todd. He explained he was that he had a need to validate model and the make of the copier and from your Transport Dept. and asked what cost I used to be offered. After I said I instructed him and did n't understand the copier make/type I wasnot approved to make a purchase he explained that he might set our purchase on-hold. A person called my house phone and said these were a trustee in a jail and a Sargent Cobbs was awaiting my phone call. a family member was arrested for DUI. Never got through but calls were made by person using my cellphone range because of it being local call sent to this

Erica, that's a classic trap n switch tactic that used to become done via snailmail. We used to get scammers giving our small-office characters from Europe claiming we owed them cash on fictitious instructions, and that they'd accept a lesser quantity. They rely on nobody keeping or understanding track of supply obtained. They recognize your business isn't that structured, depending on how generally/exactly how many job posts you putout for Office Manager, and such.FYI Todd is actually a comic book figure that is well known. Which should've been the end off there.
