They say my pc and called and must be repaired immediately. I received calls multiple occasions. They will not quit calling. It is a complete scam to acquire information that is personal.

I got this fraud text, also. It had my name proper. "[name], You have been randomly selected to get 1 free $1000 Best Buy Giftcard. Please visit PrizePickupCenter.com within 24-hours.

I've resented the same is said by a txt to usually the one below it directs u to some task net for function nothing regarding the winning 1000 gift-card

Acquired text message with my name & that I'd been randomly selected to get a $1,000 gift card from Best Buy. Explained to vist PrizePickupCenter.com within 24-hours. This is a fraud. Best Buy knows nothing about any of it.

only one txt, however itis at 3 am. it said "You've been randomly picked to receive 1 free $1000 Best Buy Giftcard. Please visit PrizePickupCenter.com within 24 hours." needs to be described as a scam because I haven't applied for any gift cards, and undoubtedly have not set my cellular number everywhere that companies can txt me.

They stated to be "a newcomer from Cornell Faculty" and wanted to know my student's major, extracurricular activities, and easily wanted to produce any of several contributions. It has to be always a con. They severely don't recognize a studentis Significant? They also needed my email, although I currently get emails from the school. And basically would provide them with my real address. If they were not scamming me, they should ask themselves it they expect one to be naive enough, finding a phone-calls <out of the blue> from someone purporting to be <anyone> wanting information that is personal and money... do they actually expect anyone to say yes to often... in this very day and age?
