STAN's all smiles after landing BioEDEN account 28th Aug 2009
BioEDEN, the first company in the world to collect, amplify and cryogenically store living stem cells from children's milk teeth, has awarded its PR contract to Manchester creative agency, STAN following a competitive pitch.
BioEDEN, which has state-of-the-art facilities at Daresbury Science Innovation Centre near Warrington, as well as laboratories in the USA and Thailand, provides a unique stem cell extraction process from children's teeth. The BioEDEN process is considered much safer and easier than other ways of retrieving stem cells.
BioEDEN has appointed STAN to raise its profile amongst parents and families of potential donors in the UK as well as overseas as it seeks to expand through international agency agreements in all markets around the world.
As well as delivering a comprehensive media relations programme through healthcare, consumer press and social media sites, STAN has secured additional project work to re-develop a new multilingual website and promotional video for the client.
STAN's PR Director, Andrew Crosbie said: "Tooth stem cell research really is at the cutting edge of medical science. We are delighted to have landed this prestigious healthcare account and look forward to raising the profile of BioEDEN amongst all target audiences."
BioEDEN's Managing Director, Jim Curtis added: "Having placed the PR brief with several leading North West, national and international agencies we were impressed with STAN's understanding of our business and its ability to combine traditional PR with the very latest social media opportunities. Additionally STAN can provide the very latest in in-house web design, search engine optimisation and video production."
