STAN shortlisted for Big Chip Award 16th Apr 2009
Stockport PR and digital creative agency, STAN has been nominated for the 'Best Newcomer' accolade at the 2009 Big Chip Awards.
The award recognises outstanding new talent in the North West within the digital media industry. STAN is one of a few businesses nominated for the award, the winner of which will be announced at the Big Chip Awards gala dinner on 18 June in Manchester.
The Big Chip Awards are in their eleventh year, and have come to be recognised as the definitive showcase of pioneering work in the digital world in the North of England. The awards are run by Digital Manchester, a trade organisation which supports North West based digital agencies.
"We're thrilled to be nominated for the award," said Stephen Greene, Head of Creative at STAN. "Just to be nominated is a sign that the team has achieved a great deal in our first year of business, and it’s fantastic to get some recognition for all the hard work."
"We're really looking forward to developing our work in the next 12 months, and perhaps next year we'll be ready to put ourselves forward for some of the other categories."
STAN's other recent successes include several account wins, including the UK PR brief for international till and point-of-sale IT provider Partner Tech.
