STAN opens London office 24th Mar 2010
STAN is opening a new office in London as demand for the specialist services it provides up North attract ever greater interest in the South.
In addition to its main office in Greater Manchester, STAN will take up residence at 21 Great Sutton Street in Clerkenwell from April this year.
Digital Director Stephen Greene said: "We've signed up a few clients recently who are based in the South East, so it makes sense to have a London base from which to hold meetings and events. Even with technological advances in remote working it is still good to connect with clients geographically, face-to-face. We've also had a great deal of interest from potential clients in London who are looking to use digital PR and social media to improve awareness of their brand. People consume media differently now and integrating communications is an important concern for any growing business and brand."
The office will be managed by Greene and Account Manager Alex Wood, who will split their time between Manchester and London as required by clients. STAN will also be moving its accounts department into the London office.
"Clerkenwell is a hub of many creative businesses, said Alex. "So there is already a great vibe there, perfect for STAN. Our creative approach to PR and social media fits the area. We've already held a couple of meetings with clients in the building, and can tell it's the perfect location for us to expand our services in London."
STAN's main office will still be in Manchester, and the team have set up an 0844 number to make sure they're contactable wherever they are, be it office, train or coffee shop.
