London publishing group takes a stake in STAN 1st Jun 2009

After just over a year in business, Stockport PR and creative digital agency, STAN is set for expansion after major investment from a leading London publishing group.

PSP Holdings, parent company to one of the UK's leading customer publishing agencies, PSP Rare, has taken a stake in STAN as it seeks to develop its own multi-media offer and establish a stronger regional presence outside of the capital.

Formed last year by directors, Stephen Greene and Andrew Crosbie, STAN is a PR and digital agency that combines traditional public and media relations with the very latest online technology and digital marketing techniques. Its five-strong team based at Houldsworth Mill in Stockport has picked up a succession of new account wins over the past twelve months across a range of business to business and consumer sectors, many of them complementary to PSP Holdings' own client portfolio.

This deal not only strengthens PSP Holdings' creative services offer for current clients, who include British Heart Foundation, Kia Motors and Somerfield, but will provide the catalyst for STAN's national expansion.

STAN director, Stephen Greene, who previously worked with PSP Rare on a number of client projects before this latest deal was finalised commented: "PSP's investment and the client introductions it can effect will enable us to build on the reputation we've already established and to grow our business UK-wide much quicker than we ever could organically in the current climate."

PSP Holdings' CEO, Peter Moore said: "We are committed to investing in and working with exciting new companies that can extend and enhance the broader services we are able to offer our clients."

"Whilst impressed with STAN's refreshing approach to digital communications and recognising the synergy it has with our own publishing business, this partnership also gives PSP an important regional presence in the North West where we have already identified new business growth opportunities."

STAN doesn't waste time creating 'noise', exposure for the sake of it. PR and creative communication is about designing, developing and delivering solutions that work.
