They named claiming to be from microsoft...a lot of sound in the background from another telemarketer to the hand-set with somebody else. Received a phone-calls from 415-413-3834 this day addressing themselves to be from the investigations division of the IRS. The men Michael Lewis & Jason Martin threatened arrest if noncompliant and required a sudden cost of 4500 for income taxes.

Mine was called Robert Williams. Mentioned he was the telephone number he quit is really a direct line into his section and from IRS. Boy did he sound menacing and threatening. Hope San Francisco Bay Area isn't set for another earthquake... God bless

SCAM Microsoft does not buzz you unless you've called them first. There's also no method for a 3rd party other than possibly Your Web organization to understand which you have a virus. Microsoft Essentials is enough, and if you have good antivirus software, you will not be infected with a virus...

Had desk phone local call from above range expressing that our computer will probably freeze if we do not login and take directions from them and that they certainly were Microsoft help.

Individual with heavy indian accent called pretending to be that it was urgent I return his buzz and with the IRS. Left what was mostly unintelligible worker identification number but was very clear in departing this telephone number (repeated it twice). Rather clear this is not a genuine IRS phone-calls.

Same situation with my customer. The persons at this number are attaining information (likely from federal tax liens on record in public documents) and contacting the owners parading themselves since the IRS. They don't follow IRS representative hand-set protocol and are obviously not associated with the Department of Treasury at all.
