Any desk phone number not identified likely should not be responded. When it is important enough they will leave an email. 99.9% of that time period it's a sales number particularly when out of state.

The caller places a call with an automatic dialer and nobody on the line once the handset is answered, and with a recorded message and nobody on the telephone if the phone-calls is answered. Bot that are illegal - even if they were not calling a number listed on the Don't Phone Call list.

Named my cell not great. It sends you to your phony option to be taken off their do not phone-calls list, while you dial back. It's just a recording.

Noted message indicating they can reduce my interest-rate on my credit cards. I sent 3 to be taken off future calls. Uncertain if this really is likely to eliminate me from the list or indicate my hand-set number being an active number that they can now keep calling. We'll see.

If you are about the DNC list & they keep contacting they can be fined up to 20,000 a phone call there after. Or you are able to contact legal counsel who specializes in DNC cases. There are always a few here in FLA that I know & you will get some wonderful out of it I do would not hurt someone with & telemarketing...
