I received a phone-calls from this number from a lady asking to ensure that I was a person with a specific name -- I provided no such affirmation -- and declaring that the called person had been joined for a drawings depending on an electric purchase manufactured within the last 6-12 weeks. She tried numerous different ways to get me to confirm that I was the called person, and I expressly pointed out that I didn't provide data of any sort, and didn't so confirm. I stated that I wasn't interested in the drawings, and, after a last effort on her part to acquire identification confirmation, which I again did not give, she said goodbye and hung up.My guess is that this is really a strong doing work for one or more third-parties, such as libraries companies, to ensure contact information and other personal information about people. I strongly suggest that everyone getting a buzz from this range expressly drop to verify any data, including specifically pointing out that you're not agreeing or claiming that you are the individual named.
